Install Flash Player I had the opportunity to test the Fifine K6 and K8 microphones for my YouTube channel (Sound Speeds). I had no knowledge of the K6 when Fifine sent it to me to evaluate but I'm glad they did. For a detailed test of the K6 including a comparison to the K8 and Shure SM58, watch my review. Pros: Very flat, natural sound when a few inches off the mic Solid build construction Top notch off axis rejection Fifine has great customer support 2 year warranty Cons: Included cables is cheaply made Foam under windscreen touches microphone element reducing effectiveness No frequency response graph in spaces Prone to plosives if you speak directly into the mic at close range Full Disclosure: The K6 was sent to me by Fifine to evaluate and review. I'm unclear at this time if they will ask for the microphone back or I get to keep it. Regardless, my opinion is honest and hasn't been influenced in any way by Fifine Technology.

Install Flash Player I guess I should start off by saying I'm a musician and have been for 20+ years. I am a songwriter, vocalist, lead and rhythm guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Check out my channel on YouTube, search "raywellmanmusicandart" to listen to my original music! I've been on stage many, many times in my life and I understand the need for a quality vocal mic, or at the least a great sounding vocal mic that's inexpensive and easy to replace. I wanted a mic that I could bring with me to local shows or for quick practice or jamming that I wouldn't have to stress if I dropped/damaged, or lost. To my surprise this thing sounds pretty sweet. At the price point, it really can't get much better. I dare compare this to Shure mics of my past (I've mostly used Shure mics or Samson on stage) and this mic really does produce high quality audio (check my video, it's a direct-in recording using this mic). For the build quality it seems sturdy enough, doesn't seem like it was put together cheaply. My only concern is the use of the 1/4" instrument connection to XLR (not sure of the design choice there) but it doesn't seem to cause any feedback issues at moderate volume. It seemed to isolate vocals well (I tried singing to the sides and back of the mic to see what might get picked up). No his or noise at moderate volumes, if you crank the volume you might get feed but then that goes for most mics. All-in-all I can't say anything about the longevity of this product as I've only had it less than a month but to the quality it's on par. Actually, it's more than I expected for the cost. This is intended to be a karaoke mic, but I will definitely pack this with me the next show I do.

I am a professional recording artist. I use very expensive mics. I bought my girls a karaoke machine for Christmas and the included mic was absolute garbage. I wanted to give them a better sound without spending pro mic money. I was truly impressed with the quality of this mic at this price point. I definitely recommend it if you need an inexpensive mic that will get the job done.

First impressions: The microphone comes securely packed, is comfortably weighty, and the metal handle has a solid feel. There is a strong chemical smell when the mic is first unpacked, but after 7-10 days of being aired out, the microphone no longer has a noticeable smell. The microphone comes with a cable (XLR to 1/4-inch jack). The quality of the cable does not seem to be as high as the quality of the mic, but I have not experienced any problems with either the mic or the cable. Recording: It's a fun mic! Sound is balanced and provides sufficient detail and clarity so it is enjoyable to work with. This microphone would be perfect for a karaoke (it feels quite robust) or for someone setting up their own project studio to record music or podcasts at home - especially for those on a budget. Although this will not replace my professional-grade studio microphones, it seems to be a great budget option for anyone interested in exploring performance or recording.

The headline captures the basics. For about $19 US (10/15/2018) you get a very nice mic; great bass response; great isolation; very easy to set up and use. Plus, it has an ON/OFF switch. I know it's a little thing, but it's amazing how few mics actually have that, and it makes a big difference! I would buy again!

Install Flash Player Well what they say you get what you pay for.. well with fifine i paid hell of a good price for a hell of a good mic! The EQ of this mic is FLAT, and that is a plus for use to manually equalize it with our PA systems (mixers) i love the fact of the ON/OFF SWITCH... the cable is not of a crazy high quality but it delivers great audio with the mic, i also connected this mic using my own Hosa brand XLR cables and to be honest there was not a difference is quality., All in all great microphone for the money, i will be using this mic for church

Install Flash Player We own two microphones. One is $40 by Shure and the other is a FiFine K6, which is half the price at $20. We took them for a road test with Street rappers to see if the quality was the same. The sound was the same and the ease of use was the same. I recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive quality microphone go with the FiFine K6. It works fantastic for singing, rapping, karaoke and all types of public speaking. The FiFine K6 is reasonable, sturdy, a great mic and it is half the price of the other mic. We were very pleased.

Install Flash Player In receiving this microphone I was pleasantly surprised that it is very well constructed! Secondly, based on the description of the mic it is more than just a "Karaoke Microphone" as the title implies. After talking into it I was glad to find that it has a warm not muffled sound to it, then after singing into it I was very much impressed. If you are looking to get a budget mic that will isolate you from the room you're in and make your voice the center of attention, this mic might be for you! Lastly, I thought I might be an interesting mic to try on a guitar amp! And again I was very shocked to see that the mic does a pretty good job recreating the sound of my amp! At this price I'd say this mic is a five star buy.

It records with a crisp top end, sounds great for voice and acoustic guitar. I actually prefer it over the Shure SM58 & SM57 for recording acoustic guitar. The construction isn't as rugged as the Shure dynamic mics, so I'd be careful handling this mic outside of your home studio. It has an on/off switch on the mic, which is a nice feature. I definitely recommend!
