Cho nồi lên bếp đun nóng cho 2 muỗng canh dầu ăn vào đun cùng với 20gr hành tím băm còn lại vào phi thơm. Sau đó cho phần thịt đã ướp vào xào cho săn thịt. Khi thịt săn cho tiếp phần nước dừa vào trộn đều phần thịt lên.
Tiếp kế cho trứng đã luộc và bóc vỏ rồi vào nồi cùng với 5 trái ớt hiểm đỏ. Để lửa riu riu cho phần nước trong nồi thịt cạn 1/3 so với lượng nước ban đầu thì tắt bếp.
