Đun nóng dầu ăn, cho thịt gà vào, lật đều hai bề mặt để thịt gà vàng đều hai mặt.
Thịt gà sau khi chiên cho vào nồi, thêm củ cải trắng, gừng, phần nước kim chi, đun lửa nhỏ và đậy kín vung, đun từ 20 đến 25 phút, nêm nếm lại tùy theo khẩu vị.
Mở vung ra, tiếp tục cho phần lá của kim chi cải thảo vào đun cùng, đun đến khi phần thịt gà chín vừa ý.
Tắt bếp, thêm hành lá vào, múc ra đĩa hay tô dùng làm món mặn ăn với cơm.
